Steve Jobs is one of the most inspiring persons of our time. He is a pioneer of technology that created an empire out of nothing, just following his heart. He presented a speech in 2005 at the Standford University’s commencement about his life and how he succeeded. He speaks about 3 steps in his life. The fist one is about “connecting the dots”. A very inspiring phrase that he mentions is You can´t connect the dots looking forward, you can only connect them looking backward which means that is only at the end of every road that you understand how the different evince in your life connect each other in order to create certain harmony. Only looking back at the past you realize how you came to produce the best in your life.

The second topic he develops is about love and loss. Steve advises that sometimes life is gonna hit you in the face with a brick, don’t lose faith. He encourages to love what you do and to improve that relationship with your work every time. His third topic he talks about is death. He refers to it giving an example of his own life and how he overcame pancreas cancer. His advice is that in the face of death all superficial problems disappear and only the important things remain. His message is also don’t wanting our life living someone else’s life.
